Databases are commonly used in Health Science academic libraries
Scopus - multidisciplinary abstract and citation commercial (proprietary) or subscription-based databases that includes a wide range of peer-reviewed literature, including many health science journals, and is frequently used for research and collection development in health sciences.
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature)- used in Health Science academic libraries. It is a proprietary database and owned and exclusively available through EBSCO.
PubMed - free resource supporting the search and retrieval of biomedical and life sciences literature.
